Faculty & Qualifications

1. Diplomas will be issued after the completion of the entire program. The Student must achieve a passing grade average to receive a diploma. Students will be permitted a re-test for any grade below passing. The Instructor may grant make-up time for extenuating circumstances.
2. All course schedules are subject to change in starting and completing dates. Students will be duly notified.
3. BORI Barber Academy reserves the right to change or modify the program content, equipment, staff, materials, and organization if necessary. Such changes may be required to keep pace with technological advances and to improve teaching methods. In no event will any changes diminish the competency of any program or result in tuition changes for current attending students.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES TO BE ACQUIRED BY THE STUDENT

After the program, the student will have acquired the following skills. Apply scalp and hair treatments, including the use of therapeutic massage. Prepare the client’s hair for shaving, assess the condition of the client’s skin, perform shaving techniques, apply after-shave antiseptic, massage the client’s face, and roll cream. Use and handle all barbering-related tools such as clippers, trimmers, scissors, razors, curling brush, blow driers, combs, and brushes.
