With over a decade of experience in the barbering industry Isaias had a dream to reshape the outlook of the industry in a positive way. Shaping the minds of those who have the courage to seek a vocation and guiding those who desire exponential growth in this profession. Program Highlights
BARBERING (1200 hours)
Our Full-Time program covers everything from classic barbering techniques to the latest styling trends, ensuring you graduate with a well-rounded skill set.
COSMETOLOGY TO BARBER CROSSOVER COURSE (200 hours)
Our cosmetology crossover program prepares students who have completed an Arizona-approved cosmetology program or are licensed cosmetologists for licensing as a Barber.
BARBER INSTRUCTOR (350 hours)
Our Barber Instuctor program prepares Arizona licensed barbers who have at least one year of experience in the industry with the training required to become a barber instructor.

Educational Objectives
At BORI Barber Academy, we aim to effectively prepare our students to pass the Arizona State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology examination, which will license them to practice barbering in Arizona. At BORI Barber Academy, we strive to teach our students the most professional and up-to-date practices in barbering as well as to excel in the business practice aspect of the industry. Our Barbering Academy instructors will be teaching in a step-by-step method during our theory and practical hours to ensure that students are learning as effectively as possible, and engage in one-on-one conversations with students to focus on key understanding they may struggle with.
Instructional Method & Language
The course is taught in the English language using a variety of current educational instructional techniques, including lecture, demonstration, visual aids, textbook review, practice on live models (under the supervision of licensed instructors) and testing.
Facility & Equipment
The academy is located at 20 E. White Mountain Blvd, Suite B2, Pinetop-Lakeside, Az 85929. The campus occupies approximately 1,490 square feet of floor space. There is ample free parking. BORI Barber Academy consists of a classroom, a break room, and a clinic floor. All space is entirely air-conditioned. Our instructors deliver education in the classroom through lectures, audio and video presentations. Practical demonstrations are done on the clinic floor. The practical classroom is equipped with student stations and treatment tables for the student to practice and perform the techniques to the public under the direct supervision of a licensed instructor.
Instructional Method
The clock-hour education is provided through a sequential set of learning steps that address specific tasks necessary for the state board preparation, graduation, and entry-level job skills. Clinic equipment, implements, and products are comparable to those used in the industry. Each student will receive instruction on performing practical, creative, and productive career-oriented activities. The course is presented through comprehensive lesson plans that reflect effective educational methods. Subjects are presented utilizing interactive lectures, demonstrations, cooperative learning, labs, student activities, and student participation. Audio-visual aids, guest speakers, field trips, projects, activities, and other related learning methods are used in the course.
